Your watch takes the readings. Attuno tells you what they mean.

Recovery, sleep, HRV and energy from the Apple Watch you already own, read back to you every morning as something you can act on.

Two things moved. Your HRV came in at 38 ms against a 14-day baseline of 47, about 19% below what is normal for you, and you slept 6h 12m, roughly an hour and a half short of your target. Resting heart rate is up 4 bpm, which usually follows the same night rather than adding anything new.

You tagged yesterday as a late night, and that is the pattern your own history shows most clearly: mornings after one average about 8 points lower.

Attuno, this morning, answering “Why is my recovery lower than yesterday?”
Recovery 58 of 100
HRV, last night 38 ms
Your 14-day baseline 47 ms
Time asleep 6h 12m
Resting heart rate +4 bpm

The five readings the paragraph is built from. Attuno shows you both, always.

One number, and the reason underneath it

Attuno scores your recovery against your own rolling baselines rather than a population average, then writes the reason in a sentence. The week sits above it as seven dots, so you can tell a bad night from a pattern.

  • Scored on device Your own 14-day baselines, computed on the iPhone.
  • What drove it HRV, resting heart rate and sleep, weighted and shown.
  • Confidence How much data the morning's score actually had to work with.

Your morning score, spent across the day

The score is redrawn as a charge that drains as you move, scaled to your own typical day. Today's target sits underneath it, and on a low morning it becomes a ceiling instead of a goal.

Attuno Energy today: a charge curve draining from 58% through the day, with Today's target asking for 470 to 640 kcal and 427 done so far

Ask it about your own night

  • Why is my recovery lower than yesterday?
  • Can I train hard today, or keep it easy?
  • Does drinking actually cost me anything?

The coach can see the day you are asking about: your scores, where each metric sits against your own baseline, and the tags you added. Answers come back with your numbers in them. The AI is part of the subscription, not a second one, and it is not metered.

How the night actually went

Stages, time asleep, how settled you were and how steady your bedtime is, with heart rate plotted across the whole night. Every chart carries your typical range behind it, so a reading lands as normal-for-you or worth a look.

Attuno Sleep detail with last night's stages and how the night compares to the usual range
Attuno heart rate while asleep: every reading as a dot with the trend through them, falling to a trough mid-night, with lowest 47, average 56 and highest 65 bpm
Attuno HRV detail: latest 56 ms against a 7-day baseline of 70 ms, with the typical range shaded behind the week chart

The effort behind the recovery

Apple Watch workouts with pace, the heart-rate curve, time in zones and the route on a map. Six weeks of training volume and your personal records sit behind them.

What a late night actually costs you

Tag a day: alcohol, travel, a hard session, under the weather. Attuno measures each tag against the mornings that followed it and reports your own history, not a general claim.

Weight, and the rest of the picture

Weigh-ins drawn as individual readings with the trend running through them, plus BMI, body fat and lean mass. Add a weight in a tap and it goes to Apple Health. Resting heart rate gets the same treatment: every reading of the day, with the smoothed line through it.

On your wrist

A native Apple Watch app with thirteen complications, in every face size. Every reading is drawn against your own range for the day, because a heart rate of 120 is a sprint for one person and a flight of stairs for another.
